17:18. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಸ್ರೇಲಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಉಗ್ರಕೋಪಿಯಾಗಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ದೂರಮಾಡಿದನು. ಯೆಹೂದಕುಲದವರ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಉಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ!

17:18. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಹುಕೋಪ ಗೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ ದನು. ಯೆಹೂದದ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಇನ್ಯಾರೂ ಉಳಿದದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ.
